Hello. I am a Melbourne based artist and curator. I’m interested in making work that encapsulates honesty and truth, and I search for these qualities within our paradoxes. I work predominately with photography but also incorporate installation, film and performance. I'm now exploring the use of sculpture and live performance as well.
I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (majoring in photography) with distinction in 1998, since then I've exhibited extensively and have been selected in numerous prestigious prizes throughout Australia. I have been featured in many publications including The Age, Frankie, Haper's Bazaar, Artist Profile, Art Alamanac and Art Guide. My work has been acquired by Bendigo Art Gallery and private collections in Australia and America.
I have also created and curated a life long project called This Wild Song which is a series of conceptual photographic portraits and interviews with Australian women visual artists who have a unique voice.
The portraits and interviews are featured on the website, and will become a book. The portraits will be exhibited in various galleries, the first major show to be at Town Hall Gallery in September 2018. I will be hosting forums with TWS artists for the public regularly with the first to be at the TWS website launch (June 2017) and another at Bendigo Art Gallery (October 2017).
